Block & Beam
The average Block & Beam house slab requires 13.5 tonnes of material. Ready mixed structural grade concrete is known to generate 140kg of Co2. per tonne, the transportation of Pre-cast concrete increases this by 26% this means the average block & beam house slab has the potential to release a staggering 3 tonnes of Co2!

An environmentally responsible and cost effective alternative would be Eco-Slab.
