In replacing old style pre-cast concrete “Block & Beam” systems with this Modern Method of Construction site activity is reduced by 80%.
However well managed the site safety, these old systems have elements of risk from concrete cutting, high speed tools, dust, noise, heavy plant, equipment and heavy manual labour, these risks are removed improving a site operative’s health and safety.

In a typical house floor Eco-Slab will replace thirteen tonnes of Pre-Cast concrete with 135kg of Polystyrene. The associated reduction of heavy plant and traffic movements both on and off site will reduce our carbon footprint by 90% placing Eco-Slab in the vanguard of Sustainable Construction.
