The system has undergone exhaustive tests by the Building Research Establishment, achieving a U-value of 0.23. with a linear thermal transmittance of 0.0W/m.K at the floor-wall junction the system surpasses the part L requirements.By increasing the density of the polystyrene a U-value of 0.19 can be easily achieved, this gives confidence for the mandatory lowering of heat loss values in the future.
